The annual Schau der Besten in Verden once again highlighted the strength of Synetics genetics, showcasing specially selected progeny groups from leading sires.

This year’s line-up featured top genetics calves, outstanding milking cows and exceptional type animals, reflecting the quality and consistency of the breeding programme.

There was also well deserved success for many of the bulls available in the UK line up, underlining their growing impact in herds both domestically and across Europe.

We have received recent feedback on Ridercup daughters from breeder Urbain Moureaux, stating ‘they promise a bright future, and we are very satisfied with them’

Urbain said ‘We chose Ridercup to improve the width and stature of our cows chests, without increasing stature, which is no longer a goal for us. His proofs also promised higher production while maintaining components and in fact, the components have even improved! We are currently milking around 15 of his daughters, and they are above average for both production and conformation. We also want to increase the milk solids produced and further improve the longevity. More generally, we aim to remain competitive in the show ring.’

Its clear to see from his results, that using Ridercup has fully met all of his objectives with obtaining 2nd place in Holstein Young Cow class with Toride, and 3rd place with Traceuse – also awarded best Udder in the young cow category!
